Administrative and Marketing Assistant

An LPL Advisor in Lexington, SC is actively seeking an Administrative and Marketing Assistant. This person will act as the primary contact for customers and responsible for creating a positive, warm and welcoming environment, provide direct administrative support to the firm, coordinate client appointments and delivering an exceptional client experience. This position is also responsible for supporting/running day:to:day marketing systems and procedures for successful operations in the firm, as well as for
research/preparation of key marketing information. Specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:
General Administrative
:Welcome guest to the office, directing them to the appropriate waiting area/office, offering refreshments and doing what is appropriate to ensure their experience is pleasant
:Answer phones, route calls and take / distribute messages
:Schedule, calendar and manage tasks and activities in team members calendars as assigned
:Provide general office support (photocopying, faxing, filing, office errands, creating documents, etc.)
:Assist senior team members with coordination and implementation of firm projects to ensure timely completion
Marketing
:Become proficient in the use of the Customer Relationship Management database program to retrieve key information, facilitate client mailings and manage various prospective client lists
:Prepare and assist with delivery of newsletters and direct mail campaigns
:Update various prospective client and new client lists and charts to track referral sources and new revenue
:Assist in building new marketing databases
:Develop and prepare marketing materials for prospective clients
:Facilitate social media activities using LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
:Work to build media contacts database to enhance public relations efforts
:Research potential new marketing services
:Proofread and aid in the maintenance of firm marketing materials
:Assist with client events and new marketing initiatives as needed
Client Service Support
:Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and build relationships with firm clients
:Manage client touches and birthday process, cards / gifts (Sympathy, Get Well, Thinking of You, etc.)
:Complete operations and service tasks as requested and train to be competent in all areas over time
Requirements and Qualifications
:High School diploma required
:At least 3 years of financial services or office administration experience preferred
:Marketing and/or social media experience or education desired, but not essential
:Ability to pick up new technology software and programs quickly
:Service:oriented, energetic and willing to cooperate
:Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
:Comfort with being a team player and doing whatever is needed, big or small
:Self:motivated with the ability to work independently and under direction
:Impeccable ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
:An efficient multi:tasker with exemplary planning and organizational skills
