Job Description JJE Capital is looking for an experienced payroll processor (from front to back end in payroll processing) that has in-depth knowledge of all essential HR administrative tasks. The primary responsibilities are: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : · Process bi-weekly payroll (26 cycles) for 4 (Four) companies utilizing ADP Workforce Now. · Responsible for quarterly reviews and year-end review of payroll processing to ensure accurate W-2’s & tax filings. · Responsible for keeping ADP, as the HRIS, updated and accurate with any changes necessary while serving as Administrator of the HR&B, Payroll, T&A, Recruitment & Report Writing modules. · Responsible for administering the random drug testing program · Complete all 401(k) Administrator tasks and update the ADP 401(k) Plan website for accuracy vs. the HRIS. · Responsible for the creation and filing of the ACA reporting forms. · Review monthly benefit invoices for accuracy before A/P processes payment. · Support the administrative function of major HR projects such as open enrollment. · Serve as the administrative knowledge backup on certain HR topics such as: recruitment process, benefit administration, separation process & unemployment process. · May be required, from time to time, to serve as backup to the HR Consultants on employee relation issues. · Other duties, special projects and responsibilities, as required, as outlined by the CHRO. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: · Confidentiality & discretion – This role requires 100% confidentiality for all data information and a sense of maturity to be able to handle payroll information & knowledge of employee relation issues without judgment of circumstances. · Strong PC computer skills with everyday experience working with Microsoft products, especially Outlook and Excel. · Experience with ADP is required. · Multi-tasking is essential for this position. A high energy level and comfortability performing projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities. · Must have a good attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with diverse personalities while being tactful, mature and flexible. · Must have good reasoning abilities and sound judgment. · Must be resourceful, well organized, dependable, efficient, detailed oriented and be adaptable to change. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : An Associates’ degree with 2 years of experience in payroll & 1 years of experience working with core HR information OR 3 years of experience in payroll & 2 years of experience working with core HR information.
