Mid:Level LifeRay Developer, responsible for development work commiserate with their skills/level. Responsibilities also include developing design, testing, implementing application components and technical analysis support. Able to work independently creating modules and testing, reporting on status, etc. Duties include: Working directly with the client to extract requirements and technical details. Working independently as well as take direction from senior team members. Report work status on a consistent basis. Following coding standards and participating in code reviews.Work collaboratively with team members, leads, and architects. Proactively addressing potential risks ahead of time.Delivers sound problem analysis and high:quality deliverables that address defined client needs. Assists in the timely resolution of any technical or client service issues. Coordinates and communicates activities with engagement management. Requirements:5+ years of Custom Development Experience and/or experience in all phases of at least one full life:cycle engagement.Knowledge on high level concepts of J2EE/JAVA framework development; High level knowledge of basic JAVA library, standards and frameworks. Can write classes and methods with direction and oversight from experienced developer, plus class and package level development experience using an ORM Persistence framework. Strong debugging skills. Good understanding of JAVA libraries.
