Currently, ManTech is seeking a Remedy Application Engineer/Analyst to provide unparralleled support for an exciting and rewarding opportunity in Washington DC. The selected individual will be part of team the will help to lead the development, implementation and continual improvement of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Execute day-to-day BMC Remedy and application interface maintenance tasks including service execution monitoring, space management, utilization, and performance * Perform installation, upgrades, and routine maintenance of Remedy out of the box, including server/applications like Help Desk, SLA, CMDB, Asset Management, and configuration of these applications as required * Perform server installs, upgrades, & routine maintenance. Apply and maintain BMC Remedy software, licenses, and patches releases * Monitor scheduled tasks and event logs for system, application, & security errors * Design and recommend strategies for upgrades and resource management * Develop work flows to enforce business practices and industry best practices in IT service management * Implement and manage the ITSM platform and be responsible for the design, deployment and maintenance of the ITIL service management toolset (BMC Remedy) * Identify, assess, and evaluate moderately complex product/service solutions, while taking the lead on coordinating resolution of product/service issues, upgrades and customizations * Maintain current Remedy applications in Windows, providing support and applications administration that encompasses Helpdesk, Asset Management, Change Management, CMDB, SLA, Dashboards, Mid-tier, Web * Services, Multi-tenancy, Migrator, Java API, and other Remedy applications * Interact with management at the customer site to assess major business processes and address product/service needs * Oversee, coordinate and/or execute all phases of the ITIL Tools development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through release Qualifications include: * Requires Bachelor's degree (Computer Science/Engineering or related field) or equivalent, and five or more years of related experience * Experience implementing and managing ITSM processes, knowledge of ITIL and ITSM best practices and technical knowledge of both IT infrastructure and applications/SDLC * Strong communication and writing skills are essential * Must possess strong knowledge and experience in Remedy versions 8.x in a Windows and SQL environment * Possess an in-depth knowledge of design, configuration and testing of Remedy Applications on 8.x * Working Knowledge of Remedy 8.x, Migrator, Web Services, Java API, Change management, Dashboards a plus but not required * Proficiency with Windows Server 2012, Enterprise services, Microsoft SQL Server 2012, SQL and store procedures * Knowledgeable in system documentation and ability to conduct user training in all aspects of the Remedy application * ITIL certification desired Security Requirements: US Citizenship and ability to obtain a DOJ Public Trust clearance Qualifications Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.
