ARYZTA Americas operates one of the largest specialty bakery businesses servicing all major customers in the retail, foodservice, QSR and convenience store channels.
The Americas Structure includes four operating Business Units: Brazil, Canada, ARYZTA US Baking Solutions and ARYZTA US Consumer Foods, which are serviced by the Americas Central Support Functions covering areas such as Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Environmental Health and Safety, Sustainability, HR, Legal, IT, Finance Shared Services, Procurement, Category Management, and Commercialization.

Key Accountabilities
:Packaging area: keeping area clean and sanitized.
:Communicating with supervisor on any quality issues
:Retrieve product samples to identify any quality issues
:Understand operation of packaging machinery
:Verify Count and Weight based on product standards
:Know, understand and follow safe operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices
:Ensure all product Quality Standards are met.
:Maintains clean and sanitary work areas, machinery and equipment
:Keep area clean and organized
:Performs all tasks and duties required to ensure production and efficiency standards are met
:Accurately communicates safety, quality, production, maintenance and sanitation issues to supervision and/or appropriate department personnel
:Responsible for establishing priorities and work independently without direct supervision.
:Follow AIB (American institute of baking) guidelines
:Understand and follow hazard analysis and critical control points, (HACCP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
:Maintains all production/maintenance/quality records and reports as required.
:Communicates with supervision and co:workers all information relevant to manufacturing process
:Ensures proper set up for the next shift and passes down all relevant information
:Assists in other training activities which support the manufacturing process

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

:Able to read and understand instructions

Education, Technical Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Proficiency Level

:1:2 years of steady work history

:2:3 years of experience in manufacturing /light industrial environment preferred
