Job Description:/h3:
Automotive Lead Technician/Level A Mechanic
Candidates for this position must be able to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all types of automotive vehicles. Candidates must be willing to get or have at least 5 of the A1:A9 certificates with a minimum of 2 years experience.
Preferred Functions:
Strong Diagnostic Skills
Able to competently Repair Vehicles the first time.
Perform Test Drives to verify repairs.
Provide technical information to other team members and service writers.
Ensure quality of work produced by entire shop.
Must be able to aid fellow technicians in achieving ASE Certifications.
Must be organized.
Must maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Problem Solving/Analysis.
Organizational Skills.
Customer/Client Focus.
Results Driven.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 125 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This is a full:time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check and initial employment drug test prior to employment. Drivers must also be able to pass a state MVR check and DOT Safety check.
