**What You Need for this Position**
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree required in architecture, construction science or related field with emphasis on construction management
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 10 years field experience with slab on grade/wood framed construction to include major site development, minimum 10 years multifamily construction, and minimum of 7 years as a buyer in support of construction projects in excess of $15 million.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Regular travel ability required.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent mathematical skills
Strong multi-tasking skills
Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Windows environment and working knowledge with spreadsheets and electronic scheduling Solid knowledge of multi-family building design and construction systems.
Must have knowledge of construction estimating and procurement processes
Understand basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections.
Be able to read construction documents and specification manuals and interpret and apply state law, local policy, and administrative procedures.
Shall have ability to compile and analyze data.
Ability to manage personnel and budgets
Shall the ability to mentor and coach personnel
Must have strong strategic planning skills
PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: Must be able bend, stoop, sit, stand, walk, climb stairs & ladder, to reach, lift, pull, push, balance, crouch, crawl, kneel and lift or carry weight up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to inside and outside environmental conditions, chemical hazards, respiratory hazards, extreme cold for more than 1 hour at a time, extreme heat for more than 1 hour at a time. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud.
