**Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Collaborate with the Project Managers to determine the field crew needs for each project
+ Create daily crew schedule based on each employee s ability to meet project requirements. Make all major adjustments (current and future) the schedules and maintain these adjustments on a weekly basis.
+ Manage and approve time off requests and schedule accordingly. Review timesheets for billing accuracy and approve through billing software, Ajera.
+ Responsible for fielding all phone calls from field crews and determining the best course of action to resolve each issue. The crew coordinator also takes call-ins from the general public regarding field crews and responds accordingly.
+ Assigns fleet vehicles (Trucks, UTVs, Trailers, and Boats) to field personnel and coordinates the maintenance and repairs of these fleet vehicles. Coordinate transfer of vehicles between offices depending on company needs.
+ Coordinate assignment of survey hardware and maintain firmware updates. (GNSS Receivers, Data Radios/Modems, Total Stations, Digital Levels, Automatic Levels, Utility Locators, etc.) Provide technical direction and training for use of survey hardware if necessary. Troubleshoot, diagnose and arrange repair of survey hardware.
+ Coordinate the setup and assignment of field tablets. Provide end user support of field tablets specifically proprietary applications used to collect survey data. Coordinate repair and replacement of field tablets.
+ Manage multiple vendors on purchase of field supplies and tools.
+ Monitor field crew performance and productivity. Make personnel decisions regarding hiring, compensation, training, promotions, discipline and termination of field staff.
+ Assists Field Operations Manager in policy formation by generating any requested documentation or reports.
**Required Experience - Education and Skills**
+ Minimum 3 years of experience as a field supervisor managing a minimum of 5 crews
+ High School Diploma required; some college a plus
+ Must be able to work flexible hours (nights, weekends and out of town work possible)
+ Valid driver's license and good driving record required
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Proven work history, strong work ethic and team-player attitude
+ Highly organized and attention to detail
