Process/Continuous Improvement Lead

Continuous Improvement Lead
The purpose of this role is to champion and drive operational excellence. In this role, you will lead process improvements that meet business needs, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long:term strategic and operational planning, and contribute to the overall performance of the business.

Will be responsible for leading and managing the dynamics of cross:functional process:improvement projects and business:wide improvement initiatives.

Will partner with the business and functional leaders to drive operational excellence and create a sustainable continuous improvement culture across the enterprise.

job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
:Develop the methods and analytics to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities
:Provide the program management and project management necessary to deliver results and instill a continuous improvement culture within the organization.
:Identify, recruit and commission appropriate resources
:Identify, suggest, and implement best practices to facilitate the best solutions and methods that will optimize processes in all areas of the business.
:Work with main clients and project and business leaders to identify the gap between current and desired results.
:Lead cross:functional teams through DMAIC:like project execution.
:Employ Six Sigma or a related methodology and analytics into organizational operations in order to accomplish business objectives.
:Work with senior level management to integrate the Six Sigma or a related approach into the companys business strategy. Some projects often include business suppliers and customers to fully integrate the Six Sigma methodology into the entire product value stream.
Qualifications:
:Requires a bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
:Requires at least 8 years related experience.
:Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent preferred.
:Must have expertise with a broad toolbox of statistical skills for modeling and prediction.
:Requires broad understanding of process best practices and barriers to implementation.
:Demonstrates strong financial acumen and understanding of the value chain.
:Requires very strong data and business information skills including Excel, Access, SQL database and related skills.
