The role of the Logistics Coordinator at ASAP Expediting and Logistics, LLC is a complex role. It is a role which requires extensive training to learn new concepts, as well as, form critical thinking skills related to logistics and customer service providing our customers with the best possible service experience.

We provide you with all the tools, knowledge and training to ensure your success and help you grow to your professional growth potential within the Logistics Industry. We want you to be a success and feel confident in everything.
Skills/Working Knowledge

:Possess or Acquire Logistics and Airfreight Basic Terminology and Shipment Process
:Acquire ASAP Logistics Terminology, Internal Processes and Sales Goal Attainment Skills
:Possess or Acquire Problem Solving Skills related to same day air/ground shipments
:Possess or Acquire the Mind Set of Proactive Behavior in Every Transaction
:Possess or Acquire Ground versus Air Considerations to Recognize Best Option Based on Customers Needs
:Great listening skills
Daily Task
:Choose Best Transport Method: based on Customers needs and expectations
:Give Quotes: set rate based on variables of transportation and profit margin target
:Choose the best option based on Customers needs and expectations
:Prioritize Task:based on importance and tasks timelines
:Multi:task: learn responsibilities and perform with self:supervision
:Communicate with the Customer: obtain information needed for individual load criteria
:Improve Customer Experience and Close Sale: anticipate the Customers needs to create the best experience by understanding load requirements instilling trust, offering peace of mind, and unique or best options to guarantee load attainment
:Think outside of the Box: Find solutions, methods, and actions to increase customers experience (via carrier options, delivery options, finding opportunities for improvement in any area to increase efficiency and our Customers Overall Experience.)
:Enter New Orders in System
:Tracking of Shipment from beginning to end
:Maintain Contact and Excellent Rapport with Customers
:Obtain Information and Create Documentation for Load
:Create BOL ( Bill of Ladings)
:Answer phone calls coming in from customers with orders or quotes for shipments

ASAP Expediting and Logistics is a 24/7 Emergency Freight company. But dont worry this position is normal business hours Monday:Friday. We love helping our customers when their in a jam. We thrive on great customers service and having great relationships with all of our vendors and agents
