Industrial control electrician performs a variety of functions related to electrical controls, equipment, and wiring of production equipment. Must be proficient in control testing, troubleshooting, installation and repair of electrical components. Requires ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications and to remain current on all electrical code specifications. *Five years experience in a production/industrial environment *Two year technical school, electrical certification *Ability to operate a variety of equipment not limited to: power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters and test lamps. *Ability to stand for long periods of time, often on concrete floors *Climbing, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling and extended reaching is necessary to access equipment components. *Ability to lift up to 65 pounds *Plumbing and HVAC experience/knowledge is a plus. *On-call, nights, holidays and weekends may be required. 24/7 operation Work schedule is 6 pm to 2 am, five nights per week, rotating days off; weekends and holidays included.
